Sinapic acid inhibits coronavirus by binding to the virus’s exogenous proteins

Sinapic acid is a naturally occurring organic compound found in many edible plants (such as broccoli). Laboratory studies showed the ability of Sinapic acid to inhibit the growth and spread of the coronavirus.

Dynamic simulation models showed how Sinapic acid binds to the outer E protein in the coronavirus envelope.
